The annual Global Gaming Summit, Facebook Gaming's highlight event, took place in Austin, Texas in 2019.
This year marked the unveiling of the new Facebook Gaming logo, which resembled a Tetris-style glyph forming the letter G.
With this opening video I wanted to begin by building anticipation and excitement, linking a classic loading screen to the new Facebook Gaming logo.
Building on this approach, I transitioned from retro gaming tropes to the G logo serving as the focal point in each following segment, reinforcing the new brand identity while honouring gaming's early days.
